The 13th of July 2008 saw the village celebrating the carnival, in glorious sunshine!
Once again, St James took part, this year sailing around the streets of Bulkington in a huge pirate ship!
A big thank you to the members of the Friends Association who took the time to make the float, all the children who took part and, of course, Steve from JJ Bartletts who provided us with our 'canvas', the lorry itself. Their efforts were rewarded as St James were crowned the winners of the Float Competition!
